Rebounding has positive benefits in many areas:
Rebounding, in simple English, means bouncing your body, whether you do this on a thing like a mini-trampoline, also known as a rebounder, or you just do it on the floor by bending your knees. Before you get scared, read on, or watch our videos below to see that probably you can do this too, and the benefits are HUGE.
First, maybe you have heard of the lymph system. It’s the body’s garbage system and filtration system for bacteria, viruses and wastes. It doesn’t have a pump; it has a series of check-valves, valves that only go one-way, so when you jump or bounce (or run), those valves open and close, thus letting your garbage, toxins, bacteria drain. Otherwise it builds up, potentially wreaking havoc.

Options for Rebounders:
It’s critical to get a Rebounder that has the correct amount of tension. Many of the cheap ones are too stiff; they have too much tension and they can actually hurt your hips and knees.
My favorite rebounder is Urban Rebounder. It’s not expensive and the springs have some resilience. I’ve had mine for years and it’s held up well. Urban Rebounder once was the industry standard (before more expensive versions came out. Click here: urbanrebounding.com
Needak Rebounder is also a good choice. Click here: needak-rebounders.com
There are other rebounder choices that are more or less expensive, but be sure you don’t get one that is too stiff. The inexpensive ones sold at the local sporting goods store are not a good choice. You want to be sure you are helping your joints and not hurting them!
